FORMER SPEAKER, PLATEAU STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY, MOURNS LATE ELDER STATESMAN'S DEPARTURE

Former Speaker, Plateau State House of Assembly and Member who represented Mikang,  Qua'an- pan  and Shendam Federal Constituency in 6th National Assembly, Rt. Hon. George Edwards Daika  has expressed shock and grief on the loss of one of the first Speakers of the Plateau State House of Assembly, 4th Republic, Prof. Dakum Gayus Shown. 

He said he is saddened and greatly pained by the loss as the late Prof. Shown was an engine room to Plateau State, People's Democratic Party(PDP) and the Mupun nation and as until his demise, he was the Chairman, Board Of Trustees, BOT MUCDA.

Rt. Hon. Daika condoled the family saying this is a loss to us all and we must stand more united in this trying period so as to overcome the sorrow and agony of his death and come out stronger.

On behalf of himself, family and Supporters, Condole with the family over the irreparable loss of this Elder Statesman of great repute, an Astute Politician, who lived a glorious life and was Committed to the development of his community and the State at large. 

Rt. Hon Daika urged the family to take solace in the Lord, like the Biblical story of Job and that the vacuum so created by his glorious departure could hardly be replaced for he was a man of ideas and wisdoms.
